Los Angeles Existing Buildings Energy and Water Efficiency Program

The City of Los Angeles Existing Buildings Energy and Water Efficiency Program (EBEWE) requires privately owned buildings of 20,000 square feet or more and city owned buildings of 7,500 square feet or more to benchmark the energy used by the entire building, submit the energy benchmark summary report annually, and to undergo an energy and water efficiency audit once every five years to identify cost-effective energy conservation measures.
